El Pueblo History Museum

Pueblo History Museum showcases the region’s many cultural and ethnic groups through innovative exhibits including the Borderlands of Southern Colorado, and Steel City: 1980-2004. The property includes a re-created 1840s adobe trading post and plaza, and the archaeological excavation site of the original 1842 El Pueblo trading post.

June 3rd – September 1st, Open Daily 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
September 3rd – June 3rd, Open Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Closed Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day

Trading Post Tours:  Monday thru Friday 10:30a.m., 11:30a.m. and 12:30p.m
