Rock Climbing

Green Mountain Climb: These are the cliffs on the Northwest side of the reservoir, directly east of the dam. They are a popular cliff jumping spot in the summer, so come prepared. Although not a climbing destination, the thrill of deep-water soloing is hard to beat.

Canon City: Just west of Pueblo you’ll find some of Southern Colorado’s most popular climbing opportunities.
