Time to #SpiceUpSpring with #VisitPueblo!
Our Spice Up Spring campaign will be highlighting the versatility of the ICONIC PUEBLO CHILE.
Our next stop will include desserts from Bite Me Cake Company / Flip A Coin Arcade Bar!
Bite Me Cake Company/ Flip A Coin Arcade Bar is a retro cupcake shop where you can chow down on tasty treats, sip on some coffee, or try your hand at one of their many pinball machines.
You may not think of dessert when you think of Pueblo Chile, but this local cupcake shop will have you rethinking your entire relationship with chile!
As you walk through the bakery doors, you are taken back in time with pinball machines and families happily walking around with their fresh scooped ice cream cones or baked goods.
Allysha Baca, co-owner and head cake designer greeted the Visit Pueblo crew with a scoop of her seasonal Milberger Farms ice cream! This ice cream is a flavor explosion in your mouth! It has a buttery rich vanilla cream base and then the fireworks of roasted pueblo chilies hit your taste buds. We bought a pint to last us until we are in chile season! You NEED to experience this Certified Pueblo Chile ice cream.
Our next Pueblo Chile dessert was served up by co-owner, Nick Baca. He brought to the table the Pueblo Chile Chocolate Chip Cookie. If you look closely in our cookie pics in this post, you will see actual green chile flecks within the cookie. The spicy and sweet combo felt like being home in Southern Colorado. You can taste the local love baked into these cookies.
Thank you to Nick, Wendy and Allysha Baca for inviting us to try your specialty Pueblo Chile Desserts!
We recommend inviting your friends and family to come play the pinball machines and grab some Milberger Farms Pueblo Chile Ice Cream! Keep an eye out for when it hits their menu again!
